A new life

When Kirsty and Ben Adami moved from Australia to Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, to start their new life in the UK, one of the first things they needed was a brand new kitchen.

 After checking out kitchen designers and installers online, Kirsty and Ben decided to meet with us to have a chat about what they wanted and get a quote from us. They then paid a visit to our showroom and were very impressed with the quality on show and were extremely happy to go ahead and get their new kitchen with us.

The Mulberry team got to work and redid the entire kitchen, from plastering to painting, electrics and gas. Kirsty and Ben chose beautiful Milbourne almond fronts from Second Nature, which was complemented with Ergo tile-effect flooring. They both really loved the resulting look. The team also fitted the Ergo tile-effect flooring through into the utility room and right through into the small toilet at the back of the kitchen.

As well as this, the team installed brand new facings and skirting boards, and fully painted and decorated the entire kitchen, so nothing was left unfinished. The designer tiles were sealed with grey grout, which complemented the colours of the kitchen beautifully, and we also tiled the full windowsill area to keep the lines of the kitchen clean.

 Some beautiful new appliances were included in the new kitchen, including a Blanco sink and Spires tap, a Hotpoint built-in microwave and a Hotpoint built-in double oven. As well as this, the team installed a stunning five-burner gas hob with cast iron supports, and a 70cm curved glass extractor hood finished the look perfectly.

 Overall, both Kirsty and Ben were really looking forward to a beautiful new kitchen in their new home, so we were delighted that they were so happy with the result. In fact, they loved their new kitchen so much that they recommended us to their parents, so that’s the next task for the Mulberry team!
